Pink Pride

Friends and family. Feathers, foof and faff. Laughter in the rain. 30,000 participants. A 300,000-strong crowd lining the route. Sinitta. Conchita. Military queens. Dyke mums. Doggy slaves. Drag Queens. Semi-naked buff boys. Posing for photographs. Bacon butties and champagne....

...and being so PINK we could be seen from space!

Gay Pride in London.

A fantastic day!

As always.

We even made the website of Mein Kampf The Mail on Sunday...

  1. You look exceedingly fabulous.

    1. It was a "look" that really worked - on a grey and grizzly day, the glow of pink lit up Oxford Street! Jx

  2. Replies
    1. Pink for bags! Pink for shoes!
Razzle, dazzle and spread the news!
Pink's for the lady with joie de vive!
      Pink's for all the family.

      Try pink shampoo.
      Pink toothpaste too.
Play in pink, all day in pink,
      Pretty gay in pink.
Drive in pink, come alive in pink,
      Have a dive in pink.

Feels so gay, feels so bright.
Makes you day, makes you night.
Pink is now the colour to which
      you gotta switch!

  3. WOW! You guys look fabulous! Sinitta may have been there (how was she, and her new single?), but it is obvious who the real stars were! Classy and pretty in pink - me loves! Fantastic photo from the Daily Mail as well - you guys clearly stole the show! Love, H

    1. Sinitta is TINY! She could hardly see over the rail on her float - but she did say how fab we looked, between bouts of singing. Oh, we were chuffed!

It was a fantastic day, but all too soon over - and on with the job of moving. We're knackered, but at least we are back online...
