Hornpipes

Gosh. In all the excitement of Saturday's Gay Pride, we neglected to notice that was also Armed Forces Day!

Better late than never...

Tighten up or shake it loose?

Happy Trafalgar Day!

What a week... Work has been a bitch again, but on Wednesday evening we were treated to a luxurious slap-up meal at London's oldest - and one of its most-renowned - restaurant, Rules! It was splendid, and provided a much-needed compensation for the daily grind.

That "grind" is now teetering to its bitter end - and we need to get the party started!

How about a "meeting of two regular blog features" - Soft Tempo Lounge and Thank Disco It's Friday?!

You think the ladies are good? Wait till the "safety gays" get going..!

Have a great weekend, folks!

Oooh get her! Whoops - I've got your number ducky!

It's HM The Queen's Official Birthday today!

Lucky her, getting two bites of the birthday cherry... I imagine she's a bit pissed off, mind you. Not only will she be missing her favourite Royal Ascot races next week, but her ceremonial Trooping of the Colour was also cancelled for only the second time since she came to the throne - to be replaced by a socially-distanced parade at Windsor Castle instead.

I hope it went something like this...

Don’t come the Brigadier bitch with me, dear!

Very welcome news that not only did representatives of the army march at the Pride parade this year, the last of the armed forces to allow uniformed gay personnel to do so, but they have signed up to the Stonewall Diversity Champions scheme in an effort to become an even better employer of gay people.

What a difference to the old days!
