Sad to hear that another legend, and "cool dude" judging by that photo, departed for Fabulon last week - Ivy Jo Hunter.
Who??!! I hear you ask...
Mr Hunter (aka George) was one of the earliest in-house writers for Motown Records in the 1960s, and here are just a few of his creations:

With him and Lamont Dozier arriving in Fabulon within months of each other, there'll no doubt one helluva party going down!
It's been quite the week for famous names "dropping like flies", or so it seems...
... icons such as Dame ONJ, Issey Miyake, Raymond Briggs, and, of course that stalwart of the classic Motown era, Mr Lamont Dozier!
Decades before the likes of the BeeGees or Stock Aitken Waterman, Holland-Dozier-Holland was the true "hit factory" - the songwriting partnership that made Tamla-Motown, and launched the careers of gazillions of household-name artists (some of whom, such as Miss Ross, are stil going today) such as Mary Wells, The Temptations, Junior Walker and the All-Stars, Freda Payne, and this lot - a classic selection of H-D-H creations that don't even begin to scrape the surface of the great man's vast repertoire, nor his legacy to the world of music...

Yesterday's Wandavision-binge-watch-party at John-John's was indeed a mammoth session - we started the series at about 2pm, and even after watching all nine episodes the party continued till late - I ended up getting home by taxi at around 2am, and was still "fired up" so didn't actually get to bed till 4am...
It's been a bit of a slow day. However, I did finally get around to re-potting two of our old Salvia Amistad that were looking very sorry for themselves, and one of them is now paired in a trough with the brand new S. verticillata we brought back from our visit to Essex so the day wasn't exactly wasted.
My pottering was been accompanied, as always, by the mellow tones of BBC Radio 2, and the fact that today would have been 85th birthday today of Mr Levi Stubbs - the lead singer of The Four Tops for almost fifty years - gives me a perfect excuse to feature a "Sunday music" classic:
Phenomenal.
