Oh, thank fuck. After one of the most gruelling weeks of my life [coming back from two weeks away to hundreds of emails and dozens of needy clients all wanting to arrange meetings, I've hardly had time to breathe!], the weekend is almost upon us - and it's a three-day one to boot!

Time for a party, methinks - so, let us get our glittery jackets out of the back of the wardrobe, wiggle our tushes along with the ever-jolly Peaches & Herb - and Thank Disco It's Bank Holiday Weekend Friday!

Yay! The weekend's almost upon us, and for that we are truly grateful. Bloody Tube and train strikes have kept me at home (just like the Pandemic Years) for two days, and I'll be glad to get out and about (and even more glad when it's time to knock off again at 4!)

So the second Gay World Cup semi-final is over, and we wave adieu to the Netherlands, Belgium, Slovakia, Cyprus (with Turkey out as well there will be some long faces here in Green Lanes!), Bulgaria, FYR Macedonia, Israel (Dana International is out!), Belarus and Latvia.

However, two of our totty fave acts here at Dolores Delargo Towers - Ireland and Sweden - are through to the Eurovision final, along with Estonia, Romania, Moldova, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Denmark, Austria, Ukraine and Slovenia.

With all that Euro-tackiness abounding, I think it's time to don some pink'n'glitter combo from the back of the wardrobe and get into the groove with something a bit more classy...
