Oh, don't throw your past away, you might need it some rainy day

The Spring sun, low in the sky, is indeed startling on the eyes. However, the joy it brings is somewhat marred by the prospect that another week of drudgery in the office has begun.

Hey ho. On this Tacky Music Monday, for no other reason whatosever than it/he's a joy to watch, how about a bit of Hugh Jackman to warm the cockles?

Imagine...

Oh, how I wish we'd ever had the chance to see this show!

Have a good week, dear reader.

Totty du Jour

In the long-gone comedy Someone Like You, Hugh Jackman and Ashley Judd were in underwear. As he remembers it: “Men’s drawers have this little slot around the front. My button had come off. I wasn’t hanging out but, looking down, the shorts had flapped open.

“Embarrassed, I explained, ‘My fly was open and you could see everything. Sorry. I apologise. Did you see that during the take?’

“She said, ‘No, I didn’t.’ Then she added, ‘But two takes before I did.’”
Lucky Ashley Judd, I say!

My gorgeous future husband Hugh Jackman is 50 years old today, and is still hotter than all the members of One Direction, or Years & Years, or any of the tweeny singers or so-called "reality-TV-celebrities" around today. And we know a most appropriate song to help him blow his candle...

Thank Disco It's Friday!

Totty of the Day

Hugh Jackman.

Always and forever...

Happy, birthday, gorgeous!

All the world'll fly in a flurry
When I take you out in the surrey,
When I take you out in the surrey with the fringe on top!
When we hit that road, hell fer leather,
Cats and dogs'll dance in the heather,
Birds and frogs'll sing all together and the toads will hop!
The wind'll whistle as we rattle along,
The cows'll moo in the clover,
The river will ripple out a whispered song,
And whisper it over and over:
Don't you wish it'd go on forever?
Don't you wish it'd go on forever??
Don't you wish it'd go on forever? and never stop
In that shiny, little surrey with the fringe on the top!

Indeed.

Totty of the Day

"Sexiest Man Alive" Mr Hugh Jackman blows out 45 candles on his cake today!

I'd certainly blow his.

Here is the lovely Mr Jackman reprising a number from his award-winning (and outrageously camp) role as Peter Allen in The Boy from Oz - and humiliating Sarah Jessica Parker in the process - he's Not The Boy Next Door:

Many happy returns, you gorgeous hunk of man...

Applogisie

Virgin Media has decided we can live without television or internet at Dolores Delargo Towers. Bastards. I am posting this in haste, in work.

"Normal" service may be resumed some time in this millennium. If the Virgin engineers can be bothered.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Meanwhile here are some gratuitous pictures of Hugh Jackman with his shirt off...

...because I love you.

Sunny Delight

Had a fun night with old friends from work last night, it's just seven days till our holiday in Spain, and Hugh Jackman is shirtless in Brazil. All is right with the world...

...and here's the lovely Mr Jackman "playing gay" for the boys:

Drunk and nude

Apparently Hugh Jackman will be presenting the Oscars tomorrow "drunk and nude".

"That's our new fresh approach. It's the Australian way," he says.

I wish! Still a good enough excuse to post a reminder of why, if he keeps his promise, that might be a very good thing indeed ...
