There you were, I was blinded

What is it about "short weeks" that makes them seem quite so long? It is finally the end of a tiring week, despite Monday's Bank Holiday - and it is time to party once again!

Thankfully.

Injecting a bit of class into the proceedings for a change, let us weave some macramé beads into our flowing locks, and funk along with the multi-talented Narada Michael Walden - with his timeless I Shoulda Loved Ya.

Thank Disco It's Friday!

Mr Walden has been the driving force behind many classics over the years, including his work with Jermaine Stewart, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin & George Michael, Stacy Lattisaw, Sister Sledge, Michelle Gayle, Starship, and, er, Whitney Houston. He's still working just as hard today, on his own music and raising money for charity through the Narada Michael Walden Foundation.

There you were, I was blinded

It's been a stressful, tiring week - not just work, but the change in the seasons and the weather always gets me down.

But it is indeed the end of the week, we have drinkies to celebrate the birthday of my sister's fiancé "The History Boy" tonight, and a sunny, blustery weekend to plan...

So let's have something ultra-cool to start this weekend off nicely - all hair beads, primary colours and wet-look shirts, it's Narada Michael Walden and I Shoulda Loved Ya. Thank Disco It's Friday!

Have a great weekend!
