Another week's almost over, dear reader, and won't we be glad when it is..?

John-John and I are off to our first Polari of 2022 at the venerable Royal Vauxhall Tavern tonight, then there's another "gathering of the clans" tomorrow to investigate more potential venues for future Film Club get-togethers (in other words a pub crawl) - so there's actually a bit to look forward to.

To get the party mood started, let's hairspray our locks into submission with the crispiest flicks we can manage, slip into our co-ordinating shimmery blue "harem" outfits, and boogie like Alton McClain & Destiny [and whatever happened to them..?]!

Another weekend looms - and it looks like Spring is here! This week has been so warm and sunny, it brings a bit of optimism into our lives here at Dolores Delargo Towers.

So much so, I recommend we all head back to the heady days of 1979, dig out some turquoise chiffon, flick our hair and bare our midriffs - and bop along to the summery sound of the US trio of Alton McClain, Robyrda Stiger and D'Marie Warren (aka Destiny).
