Pump up the volume, turn out the light, everybody's gonna dance tonight

The end of another week is in sight, dear reader. Of course, that means little to me as I am still on leave, with happy memories of Amsterdam still in my head...

However, with another gathering of the clans tonight by way of a send-off to Our Sal [who will be leaving London for her native Newcastle in a couple of weeks, but this is the last opportunity Hils and Crog, and John-John too, will have to say their farewells as they are all on - separate - hols in September] tonight, the weekend does indeed start with a party!

Who better to provide the entertainment than an - ahem - exceptionally talented Dutch girl-group [with a load of help here from Stock Aitken and Waterman]? Grab your best wipe-down shiny leatherette, back-comb your hair until the static could power a small city...

...and Thank Disco the Dolly Dots It's Friday!

Have a great one, dear reader!

Monday mood.

Never mind, eh? Here's a shining example of what happens when International Women's Day collides with Tacky Music Monday. Six exceptionally - ahem - talented women performing a - ahem - joyful number to wake us up in our traditional fashion!

It's the Dolly Dots. Of course.

I need a lie down after that. Except I can't; I have important emails to attend to...

Things that you are into

Here, to cheer us up as we face the prospect of yet another week of toil, is the lady herself with her band - none other than Holland's (ahem) finest, the Dolly Dots!

If Legs & Co and Bucks Fizz had ever had progeny, this inevitably would have been the result...

Not exactly the Spice Girls.

Have a great week, dahlings!

Queens of Sheba

It may be a bank holiday but it's always Tacky Music Monday here at Dolores Delargo Towers! A classy little item from Holland's finest purveyors of kitsch the Dolly Dots is in order methinks...
