Distraction, Italian style

As the grey ominous skies continue to loom, and thundery storms batter the extensive gardens here at Dolores Delargo Towers, our thoughts are somewhat distracted by dreams of warmer climes.

Let's drop in on the sumptuous lives of impossibly glamorous people, cavorting in exotic locations, once again - courtesy of the fabulous Soft Tempo Lounge!

Ah, that's better.

  1. Ah, that is better! (The Father is threatening to cut down all their shrubs that are currently giving them a bit of privacy, and the clouds are looming here, too)

    1. Oh dear. Some people always feel the need to chop down perfectly serviceable plants for no reason. I believe in judicious pruning, staking and dead-heading, of course, but other than that our garden is allowed to rocket away happily at this time of year (weather permitting)... Jx

  2. Jon, your gardens look absolutely stunning!!!! So beautiful. You have worked hard. And if Rhett Butler was there, he'd have this to say-

"You can drop the moonlight Magnolia Scarlett. What have you been doing with your hands? These aren't the hands that belong to a lady, you've been working them like a field hand."

    1. I find the combination of lounge music and gardening irresistible. Not today, unfortunately, as it is still raining. Jx
