I remember seeing the world premiere of "Can You Forgive Her" on MTV back in 1992. I was completely blown away by the look on the video, and that continued with the "Go West" video.
I can't believe it has been such a long time since "Very" came out! It's still a great album and "Dreaming Of The Queen" remains one of my favorite PSB songs of all time. Thankfully the boys are still releasing fantastic stuff, all these years later (a scary thought: next year it will be 30 years since they released the Bobby O version of "West End Girls"!)
I remember when Neil Tennant was merely the editor of "Smash Hits", and when he announced he was forming a band with such a silly name everyone said "they won't last"...
Well, the boys sure proved those critics wrong. I am still laughing about that sad little journalist who said back in 1985 that Madonna would be "out of business in six months". Still makes me laugh...
