We love Debbie, she was a game gal. From Singin in the Rain to Tammy to The Unsinkable Molly Brown etc, and her dedication to preserving Hollywood history. She was delightful of course and having a ball as Grace's mother in Will & Grace. At least she did not linger after Carrie, into a ghastly twilight like Zsa Zsa.
It's all getting too much.
ReplyDeleteRIP, Debbie.

RIP indeed, my dear, three little letters we've been using a bit too much this year. Jx
DeleteUnfathomable, isn't it? IF it were a script, even she might have thought it a bit much. But that was how her life was, start to finish.

More than a coincidence. She had a stroke. News of her daughter's death could very well have brought it on.
ReplyDeleteAn 84-year-old should not have had to bear such a burden... Jx
