So bored with Brexit... such a mess. I have a horrible feeling it will be like this for the next 20 years... people will still be snapping about it... it'll still be knocking celebrity news stories off the front page.... and now there are whisperings about a general election.... aarrgghh.

"Knocking celebrity news stories off the front page" is no bad thing in my opinion, but it would appear these days that partisan bickering is all the alternative we're ever going to to get (don't get me started on the bloody never-ending American Presidential soap opera!).
DeleteAnd to top it all today, I discovered that one of the last homes of real journalism The Telegraph has gone "pay-to-view", so that's yet one more source of in-depth analysis gone out of the window. Maybe I should just join Tw*tter, subscribe to some meaningless drivel feed about pampered Z-listers and be done with it. Pah! Jx
This goes a hundred times over for myself and just about every American I know today. If only this was a nightmare from which we could awaken with relief! And FWIW, this Yank's go-to news source is always the Beeb. That's the first site I checked this morning, when I began hoping this was all a horrible dream.
