DeleteI met Grace Jones on the edge of a dance floor many moons ago post a performance where she had fallen off the stage, disappeared and bounced back unscathed with her latest toy boy draped casually over her. As I gushed about what a seminal figure she had been in my life (from the days my mum used to play the alien soundtrack to our car trips that was 'Nightclubbing) she hardly responded and seemed mighty unimpressed. While I realise today she was probably under the influence the interaction was perfect and I would expect nothing less from La Grace. Happy Birthday!! 🎂
