'Snow Joke...



The completely barmy (and magnificent) Kate Bush is to release a new album in November, which will be entirely themed around snow.

The record, 50 Words For Snow, will feature seven new tracks "set against a background of falling snow", a statement on her website said.

I am excited by this news and I have already pre-ordered the album the only thing that worries me is the album is 7 tracks long and 65 minutes long - maths isn't my strong point but that's almost 10 minutes per song … or maybe a couple of songs at 25 minutes each? or maybe 6 regular length songs and one opus that is 40 minutes maybe…???

  2. It will be a typical Kate Bush project - nobody will have a clue until the eleventh hour. That's a good thing (although I am not sure I could cope with a 40-minute opus, however much I love her!). Jx

On itunes they have Aerial disc two as one 43 minute track - I'm pretty sure someone like Kate wouldn't allow them to do that unless she was happy with it - Aerial only became available on itunes in 2010 - so I'm thinking she might have one song that is about 7 pieces of music linked together like the sky of honey disc … will be interesting to find out the running times of those 7 tracks ...
