You keep thinking that you'll never get burned

Oh dear. I didn't win the Lottery. Again.

To ease the crushing blow of once more having to go to work, I thought I'd give us something genuinely kitsch to brighten our day!

On this Tacky Music Monday let us put our hands together for the Queen of the Rovers Return, Miss Julie Goodyear MBE - better known to millions across the globe as brassy Bet Lynch - singing These Boots Are Made For Walking...

Camp as tits!

[Thanks, Mitzi!]

PS Any resemblance to Mistress MJ is purely coincidental.

  1. How fab to see this on video.

It's from 'Coronation Street: The album' issued by K-Tel in 1987

    with tracks by the fab Bet Lynch - These Boots Are Made For Walking as well as amongst others;

Sally Whittaker - Never Can Say Goodbye
Mike Baldwin - You Make Me Feel So Young
Brian Tilsley - All You Need Is Love
Percy Sugden - Leaning On A Lamp Post
Ivy Tilsley - We'll Meet Again
Rita Fairclough - After The Ball Is Over
and Vera Duckworth - All Of Me

I will put it on the 'wish list'.

  2. Well, imagine my unpleasant surprise when I did not win the lottery either, despite having had a dream about loads of cash coming my way a few days earlier....

    1. "To see or win money in your dream indicates that success and prosperity is within your reach. Money represents confidence, self-worth, success, or values. You have much belief in yourself. Alternatively, dreaming about money refers to your attitudes about love and matters of the heart. It is a common symbol for sexuality and power. In particular, finding money indicates your quest for love or for power."

      Apparently. Jx
