Our fantabulosa Campanula medium ("Canterbury Bells") - a magnet for bees. And for us, too.
We're having a mini-heatwave today; the hottest day of the year so far - almost a record-breaker, too (we registered 32C in the extensive gardens here at Dolores Delargo Towers) - and all around our neighbourhood, the boys' clothes just fall off! I like weather that does that...
...and, right on cue, Fischerspooner!
Hot, indeed.
The countdown to London's Gay Pride next Saturday starts here, folks!
Ug. 32? Too hot. Although, you do raise a good point about the falling off of clothes from certain someones...
ReplyDeleteLovely, Campanula, btw. Very striking!
Canterbury Bells are extraordinarily beautiful - and, with judicious dead-heading, will continue this kind of display for a while yet!
DeleteWhich is probably more than can be said for the number of occasions when topless boys litter our streets.

At lunch time today, I saw a glut of fit boys being held hostage by their tight T-shirts. Surely something can be done about this? A Blue Peter Appeal, perhaps?
DeleteMaybe if we collect a thousand milk-bottle tops each, they might peel off a layer? Call Valerie Singleton. Or Lesley Judd! Jx
