She's fabulous!

  1. I believe she's on to something (I haven't read the article - don't want to accept all those ads and cookies) as some people (mainly Z-elebreties and their weak-minded fans) look more and more like cheap CGI creations as time goes on.

Do you know, I don't think I've seen very many Jamie Leigh Curtis films at all! Off the top of my head, I can only think of A Fish Called Wanda and Everything Everywhere All At Once. A look at Wikipedia informs me I heard her voice in From Up On Poppy Hill, but that's about it.

    1. She is faboo - but, just like you, it's difficult to pin down how many films I have actually seen her in (I never got into the Hallowe'en horror films, the longest run of her career, and I am no fan of rom-coms). She was great in A Fish Called Wanda, and we enjoyed her "chewing the scenery" in Knives Out. Jx

    2. PS Install Firefox web browser, m'dear - with the add-on called uBlock Origin, we never see an advert anywhere - not even on YouTube!

    3. ...The Fog (in which she is particularly splendid) True Lies (in which she is particularly splendid) Trading Places...in which she is particularly splendid...

    4. I remember The Fog being on late-night telly, but I was probably too pissed to remember much about it, never mind the cast...

Not sure I've ever seen the other two. Jx

  2. I was going to say Trading Places, but Ms Nations beat me to it! The Fog is a terrific film. I first saw it on TV in April 1988!
    Anyhow, Jamie is fab.

    1. It's quite funny - I was drawn to the article immediately, because I thought it was Amanda Lepore with short hair. At least Amanda did it - like Pete Burns - specifically to look like a freak. The majority of girls who get their lips done like that genuinely think they look good, when in fact they just look like they've been punched in the gob or been in a fire. Jx
