Your love is my love, my love is your love

What a slow and strange week this has been! Starting with a heatwave, ending with typically autumnal gales, with a brief visit to the RHS Autumn Show in between...

Never mind all that, we're off to the National Portrait Gallery tonight for an event called Glamour Factory, which promises to recreate some of the magic of Hollywood with makeovers, style tips, cabaret and cocktails - all to accompany their Glamour of the Gods photo exhibition (which of course we are going to view as well).

Meanwhile, if you are not coming along to make yourself glamorous with us, why not just cover yourself with bits of old material from the bottom of your wardrobe just like Miss Cheryl Lynn, and boogie along with her timeless classic Got To Be Real? One of my favourites - Thank Disco It's Friday!

  3. I agree with Marky, love this and "Star Love"!

Oddly enough, "Got to be Real" was a big hit at the same time the infamous Jonestown massacre took place, so I can't help associating the two. Weird, I know.
