Slow, slow, slow - that just about sums up how today is going, since our return from Spain late on Saturday. Despite having mental plans of things to do in the garden (while the rain holds off) and/or the flat (I have had some more pictures framed, so there's some rearranging to do to accommodate them before we run out of wall!), all I've really managed is to get some washing done.
Hey ho. I haven't forgotten, however, despite still being on holiday all this week, that it is a Tacky Music Monday - and with that in mind...
...why have just one Spanish diva to cheer us up, when you can have three?!
¡Olé!
Have a good week, dear reader.
[* Ay que Calor = "Oh, how hot" in Spanish]
But did you get the washing dry????! Did you read that the West Country has had rain every single day this year? Thank goodness for the dehumidifier.
ReplyDeleteI hope there is some dry weather soon so that you can tend your garden.
Sx
We've had the heating on mainly in the evenings, so things dry OK. I'm opening windows by day, however, to try and avoid steaming the place up too much...
DeleteLooking at the forecast, there may be some sunny spells tomorrow - then it's bleurgh again until Saturday. Dammit. Jx
PS When I moved to Plymouth, the first year was glorious and I was sunbathing on The Hoe. Year #2, however, it rained every single day from July to December!
DeleteI left the video running whilst I went to spend a penny when I returned the video had finished and I saw 6 stills of recommended videos: Abba Voyage, Connie Boswell Heart and Soul, Knees Up Mother Brown 1964 BFI National Archive, Grange Hill-Before and Now, Annie Walker-They Lied to Me and Julian Clary- Mincing Machine. What I want to know are the recommended videos based on my viewing history or yours either way it's very worrying.
ReplyDeleteHa! YouTube knows both of us too well... 🤣 Jx
DeleteYe gods! Are the pixies behind pixar spying on all of us? Ah, well, they are unlikely to get me...I haven't figured out how to work the tv yet!
DeleteI got three Lola Flores selections, one Carmen Sevilla, a Dame Edna (yay!), and a "Where is Susan Boyle now? (2025)"!
DeleteDinah - not sure what Pixar's got to do with it, unless all your YT suggestions have been things like Toy Story, Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc...
DeleteMr DeVice - at least your recommendations seem to make some semblance of sense! [Apart from Susan Boyle. That's just random.]
Jx
I enjoyed this tacky music. Glad you have another week away from work.
ReplyDeleteI loved stumbling across this one - such fun! I'm very glad for another week off, too - although the weather here isn't giving me much cheer, tbh. Jx
DeleteNaf fan work
ReplyDeleteHardly Loco Mia standard, are they? But they try. Jx
