Another tiresome week ebbs away...
...and it's time to get our party togs on! It's payday, John-John and I are off to see Avengers: Endgame Encore in Leicester Square tonight, and tomorrow it's another "gathering of the clans" for a film day to mark History Boy's birthday. Bring. It. On!
To get us there, here's something from the vaults, having just entered our Top Ten way back in 1977 - Thank Disco It's Friday!
Thirty-nine years?! Sigh.
Have a good weekend, dear reader!
They are warming my barstool in the pub as we speak for happy hour with the clan after work. This first week back to work was hell I tell ya. Have a good time this weekend dear.
ReplyDeleteWork was hell again for me this week, but I hadn't been away for a few weeks. That's always the very worst! Jx
DeleteThe delivery in this song always gets me going. Such great attitude. Hope you’re having a fun night.
ReplyDeleteIt was only their contribution that gave Earth Wind and Fire their biggest and most memorable hit! Jx
DeleteNope! Don't even remember it...
ReplyDeleteWhere on earth were you in 1977, Dinah? This song was everywhere..! Jx
DeleteFar too busy doing something with disco balls, no doubt?!
DeleteI remember it! Yes, what were you doing with the disco balls, Dinah!
