After yesterday's washout, I managed to get out into the extensive gardens here at Dolores Delargo Towers (and even enjoyed some spells of sunshine!) to get more pottering bits and pieces done. With about 300 plants in pots, there's always something that needs some attention...
Time, methinks for a light musical interlude, courtesy once more of the geniuses at Soft Tempo Lounge:
Ah, that's better.
[Music: Syd Dale - Brass But Lightly; Original Film: Jacques Tati's Playtime (1968)]
We still do not have one live plant in the apartment or terrace, and I think I’ll just wait until summer has passed before I decide what I want. The air has started to cool this evening. It’s now down to 41C.
ReplyDeleteThere a loads of plants, I'm sure, that can deal with your kind of summer temperatures without problem... Jx
DeleteThank the gods Soft Tempo Lounge came back !
ReplyDeleteYou Tube should know better.
STL chooses the best film scenes for the music, it’s a Dream and Time Machine back to the 1960’s and 1970’s :)

It is good to have STL back in business - I have yet to go back over the many years I have been featuring their videos to see if the previously-deleted ones have been restored so I can "fill the gaps" left behind...
DeleteThis one is particularly brilliant - and the clip is from an equally brilliant film. A Jacques Tati masterpiece. Jx
I am at a loss for words, sweetpea! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThen just dance, sweetie! Jx
DeleteThat was lovely and need. I only just arose two hours ago from all the revelry yesterday and into the night getting back very late.
ReplyDeleteI can smell the gin fumes from here, sweetie.
DeleteGlad you enjoyed the Soft Tempo Lounge - a good way to ease one's way out of a weekend... Jx
Perfect for my Monday off
ReplyDeleteI love the way the lady in the black frock and ginger wig trips as she is getting up from her table.
She extracts her heel from the crack in the floor in time with the music! Jx
