It's a conga line!
We're heading off tonight for a bit of culture (with a capital "K"), as a little gang of us have booked tickets for Mozart's The Magic Flute at The Royal Opera House, no less!
Meanwhile, it's All Hallows Day today, also known as All Saints...
...so let's have some appropriate music for the occasion, shall we?
Fuck. That song is 28 years old! It's the same age as Sydney Sweeney, Max Verstappen, Zara Larsson, Jacob Elordi, Raye and Channel 5...
Enjoy! I love the Magic Flute.
ReplyDeleteOr is it I enjoy a magic flute? Or playing a magic flute...well... somewhere a flute is involved.
I always knew you were a fellow Queen of the Night... Jx
DeleteOne of my favorite operas, sweetpea! xoxo (yet another song that passed me by!)
ReplyDeletePa-Pa-Pa-Pa-Pa-Pa-Papagena! Jx
DeleteI know 2 things about the flute: it is played traverso and the other thing is probably unmentionable.
ReplyDeleteBetter a flute than a piccolo, dear! 🤣 Jx
DeleteOh my goodness is it warm in here or....my goodness. Gracious.

I thought I just should point out that 'All Hallows Day' is 'All Souls day' celebrating the dead and 'All Saints Day' does what it say and celebrates the Saints.
ReplyDeleteI would also like to add how much I love All Saints and especially 'Under the Bridge'
It is the second day of Allhallowtide, a three-day season that starts with All Hallows' Eve (Halloween) on October 31st and concludes with All Souls' Day on November 2nd.
DeleteThe band was (possibly is, as they keep re-forming) a touch of class amongst some of the dross around at the time... Jx
