When stout-hearted men can stick together man to man

Yep. Back to the old routine...

Another enjoyable weekend has gone boom! - and it's back to the office time again... Hey ho.

Today, alongside fellow celebrants Dame Anna Wintour, John Barry, Adam Ant, Monica Vitti, Charles Bronson, Roseanne Barr, Lord Kenneth Baker, Dolph Lundgren, Jeremy Brett, Vincenzo Bellini, Robert Miles, Ben Fogle, Ian Wright, Viscount David Linley (2nd Earl of Snowdon), Dylan Moran, Gary Olsen and Benvenuto Cellini...

...it's Lulu's birthday!

So, to cheer us up, and to give us a bit of a wake-up call on this Tacky Music Monday, how about the great lady herself with this "safety-gay-heavy" number?

Have a good week, dear reader.

  1. I think those boys could have spent a little less time playing slap and tickle in the dressing room and a little more rehearsing.

  2. I've just discovered that Gary Olsen was in 1981's "The Day of the Triffids" - how topical!

  3. Here's to the beginning of another full week back to work.

Adore LuLu. I think she may have had only two big club hits here in the US. But I have been a longtime fan.

    1. She is a "national treasure" here - she started her career the year after I was born(!), and is still going strong today. She was on stage at the Glastonbury Festival just this June, duetting with Sir Rod Stewart! Jx

  4. I had a caps. loc. malfunction! I was recalling her doing a routine with Adrienne Posta.

Let's face it - Lulu sang with just about everyone - from Dudley Moore and Dusty Springfield to Take That and Atomic Kitten! Jx
