Don't know whether it's morning or night; only know it's sounding right

Amongst a glut of significant birthdays today - a mixed bag that includes Jimmy Carter, Walter Matthau, Bonnie Parker, Laurence Harvey, Paul Dukas, George Peppard, Tom Bosley, Richard Harris, Stanley Holloway, Youssou N'dour, Stella Stevens, Phil Oakey, Randy Quaid and Donny Hathaway (phew!) - is the wonderful Dame Julie Andrews, "national treasure" and firm favourite of all who reside at Dolores Delargo Towers!

By way of celebration of "Our Julie", here are just a few remarkable examples of her talents...

And, of course, an eternal favourite...

We adore her.

Dame Julie Elizabeth Andrews, DBE (born 1st October 1935)
