La la la la la la

This week has dragged...

However, the weekend looms - a busy one, as well; I am going to see Ant Man: Quantumania tonight, then tomorrow our gang's heading to Wilton's Music Hall for a rip-roaring Great British Comedy Songbook piano singalong - so it's time to get the party started!

What better than the combination of one of the era's campest girl groups, a samba classic, and a troupe of truly crazy dancers to sing and dance along with it while wearing ridiculous outfits? Get your feathers flying - and Thank Disco It's Friday!

Have a great weekend, dear reader!

    1. The blurb for the show promises everything from the Music Hall to Bernard Cribbins to Victoria Wood, so I can't wait... Jx

PS Or do you mean you're singing along to that disco version of Brazil while wearing a homemade costume?

  2. Those costumes. This is what happens when you give a pair of scissors to children. The inhumanity. What did that fabric ever do to them to deserve such foul treatment? As for this week. I have a new VP - they are passive aggressive; a cheerful fascist whose written communication skills range from insulting to vague. I worked until 10:30 pm last night trying to appease her lordship and I am ready to soak my head in a bathtub full of Boodles gin. So F this week... I have seven weeks of vacation saved up and I plan on taking them all... Kizzes.

    1. The "costumery" in this particular production makes my eyes bleed. Just imagine how these poor sods tried to explain their appearance on this show in their CV. Jx

PS Work politics, on occasions, has led me to dream about swinging through the office window on a rope wearing a balaclava and brandishing an AK-47. Shame it was only a dream.

  3. Sounds like a great weekend. The video is painful to watch. As for the animated Giff: Don’t those things hurt?

    1. The video probably makes you very glad you weren't living in Spain when that sort of thing was prime-time telly.

Yes, I can only imagine the chafing that "lady" must have had after wiggling her way through the Brazil Carnival in a metallic bejewelled bra-and-panties set and wings as well! Jx
