Patsy Kensit was 55 last SaturdayPatsy Kensit (born Patricia Jude Kensit, 4th March 1968)
Proof, indeed (if any were needed) that we have the most eclectic musical tastes here at Dolores Delargo Towers...
Many happy returns, one and all!
We saw Phantom in London in the 90s. Elaine Paige's stand-in performed that night. I'm not a fan of the show but I am a fan of Elaine Paige.
ReplyDeleteI'm no Phantom fan either, but Elaine Paige has a certain je ne sais quoi that she brings to any role she's in. We saw her in (the short-lived) Drowsy Chaperone, and she was wonderful! Jx
DeleteDo you know who I have more CDs of than any othe artist? Mr. Numan. I went through a phase. Haven't listened to half of them... but I just kept buying them thinking eventually he'll get as bored making his music as I am listening to it.
ReplyDeleteI was obsessed by Gary Numan as a teenager, and I have all the singles and albums from his early career on vinyl. He sort of "fell by the wayside" after a while, as the competition for my attention heated up... Jx
DeleteSeem to remember "Evita"...
ReplyDeleteI should jolly well hope so! Jx
DeleteOf course Gary's birthday is the day before mine! A fellow Piscean!
ReplyDeleteAlways loved the Patsy Kensit number as well.

I had a Gary Numan phase, too.

Belated Happy Birthday greetings, Ms Scarlet!
DeleteNext time I see Mr Numan I will suggest he pops down to Devon in his plane to see you... Jx
Thank you! That would be nice!

All of them fabulous in their own way and no one could say our musical taste was limited.
ReplyDeleteEclecticism is core to our very being, my sweet. Jx
