One way to work off all that chocolate, I suppose...
It does seem rather daft to be extolling the joys of the impending weekend-to-come, when a) we've only been back in work two days, and b) we've just spent a couple of weeks indulging in total hedonism and excess, but...
...it's traditional - Thank Disco It's Friday!!
Have a good (and restful) one, dear reader. That's my plan!
[NB the vocal sample is from Charvoni - Always There, later covered by Jocelyn Brown and Incognito]
Yep. I need to exercise...if I can get off the sofa.

Well, I wouldn't bother going out for a jog - it's freezing out there! Best to exercise safely. Maybe try opening a bag of crisps without using your teeth? Jx
DeleteI always thought that disco body shaper looked like fun. Maybe not with that trio, but still.
ReplyDeleteWith your record of trips and bumps, I wouldn't advise it. Besides, you probably threw the leg-warmers out when you moved from Fuengirola 🤣🤣 Jx
DeleteI need to get myself one of them to get the fat off, I weighed myself just before my holiday, 12 stone 18 if you please, I know there are 14 lbs in a stone, I just haven't come to terms with been in the teens and nor do I want to, my maid of all work is 12 stone 60!
ReplyDeleteI was listening to a radio documentary last night all about Leigh Bowery and his modelling for Francis Bacon. Artists like fat models, it would appear, so there's a career out there for anybody, no matter their shape! Jx
DeleteI have just about eaten all the chocolate left in the house now, and last night I had a pot of vegetables for tea (albeit with some white bread & butter!), so it's health, health, health from now on! (Except for the box of Bendicks mint chocolates that I'm going to have to eat tonight while slumped in front of the telly)
ReplyDeleteWhen you say "pot of vegetables" you don't mention whether they were fried with or without batter... Jx
DeleteThat's my new jam!
ReplyDeleteYou're so "down with the kids", Peenee! Jx
