Portrait of... Swindon?

As we look out on the grey dankness hanging over our autumnal garden, our thoughts once again turn to wallowing in the lives of impossibly glamorous people in exotic locations (even if the architecture in this clip probably lends itself more to Swindon than Italy) - and thank heavens we have the talented people over at Soft Tempo Lounge to provide it...

Oh. That's better...

[Music: Jerry Van Rooyen - Lisbon Sidewalks. Film: La morte bussa due volte (1969)]

  1. I now feel I should go and waft over a shag pile, and buy a 1960s bungalow, or some such.

    1. Open-plan, of course, with lots of "Burnt Orange" decor. Jx

  2. Oh, dear... That one was all a bit Crossroads Goes Continental for me. And doubly disappointing as the wet shirt moment was scuppered by a pair of painted thre'pennies!

    1. I know - and such badly-painted ones, as well. Reminded me of the sort of "art" that used to be sold by Boots in the 1970s when it tried to be a department store for a while, before reverting to the much safer territory of selling suppositories and athlete's foot powder. Jx
