John-John, Paul and I are out on the razz tonight for a long-overdue visit to "London's peerless gay literary salon" Polari, once again raising the rafters at (a socially-distanced, table-service-only) Heaven nightclub!
My first evening out in seven months. I can't wait!

DeleteThat video makes George Michael appear to be almost gay(????). (No, it actually does that really, really well.) I was not aware there WAS a video for that one. I adore him. Miss him much. And you! Going out. Clubbing?? Hurrah. Very jell. I have yet to eat at a restaurant or go to a bar. I must say, lately I have been imagining myself going to a club and dancing... but the year is 1997 and I adore every song the DJ plays... sigh. Have a ball, dear. (or two) Kizzes.

DeleteIt wasn't quite the "nightclub dancing-while-off-yer-tits" kind of evening - the club is able to open as a cabaret venue, with carefully-managed socially-distanced tables and all the correct precautions. It has yet to re-open as a "proper" club, and it will be several weeks till the UK government gives the final OK for it to do so... Jx
Oh... and then the whole reason I wanted to comment - I plum forgot! That gif of Miss Ross, whirling, twirling like she's on a cocaine bender? Mahogany remains one of my favorite TERRIBLE movies. I adore it from start to static finish. It is painful and pleasurable and unintentionally so funny. Oh, dear, now I have to go watch it. This weekend. It's on the list. More Kizzes.
