HOW OLD???!!

It's our friend John-John's birthday today!

Our "gang" is gathering once more, as we do, for another all-day session at the Wetherspoons in High Holborn - which should be fun and games as always.

John-John's fanaticism about all things Abba is well-documented - so here, for his (and our) listening pleasure, is a selection of their classic hits...

...IN HINDI!

Inevitably, we do have this album in our collection here at Dolores Delargo Towers [and I have, of course, featured the marvellous Agha sisters here before]...

Happy birthday, John-John!

  1. Having your birthday on Halloween's Eve seems like a good way to guarantee a birthday party every year.

    1. It was a hoot - eight hours' solid drinking, and a gathering of good friends. Unsurprisingly, I didn't surface till about 2pm (which would have been 3pm yesterday as the clocks went back overnight)... Jx

  5. I hope you all had a fabulous time. Look at me... late to the party, again. But then getting anywhere these days is a stroke of luck for me, dears. Kizzes.

    1. Can't really party much when one is working - but we're hearing fireworks every evening now (as is usual in London; there'll be some cultural festival or national day for some community or other all through the autumn - it's Divali tomorrow, then Bonfire night, of course, on Friday) so it feels like there's a constant round of parties we're not invited to. Jx
