Winter is officially on our doorstep...
'Tis the season of witches, bitches, werewolves and zombies again. Hallowe'en, Samhain, Calan Gaeaf, Dziady - the only time of the year anyone gives a stuff about pumpkins or toffee-apples...
It's also the season for horror B-movies - and here's Steve Hayes aka Tired Old Queen at the Movies with one of his favourites!
Happy haunting, peeps!
Footnote:
For my sister...
...it's traditional...
Happy Hallows Girls!!!! It's like the gay Christmas for me! And yet were still warm here.
ReplyDeleteHallowe'en's a fine time for dressing-up (although we didn't for John-John's "do", as it was only a Wetherspoons chain pub and not a hired venue as he's done in the past), but not that big a deal, really. Jx
DeletePS it's not very cold here either, but fierce winds make it feel a bit chill. London never really gets really wintry until the New Year, usually.
Bah! Bloody non-loading Summer.
ReplyDeleteDid you and your sister reenact that Yorga clip when you were slightly younger (or even now)? "Isn't that just Devonian"!
Happy Hallowe'en!
I still spook my sister by re-enacting that scene today!

PS 2021 is definitely going down as "the year that summer forgot".
Tis the season. Have a lovely Halloween, dear. I'd ask you if you were dressing up... but, for you... that's an everyday occurrence, right? It is for me, anyway... I pretend to be civil. Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteI only wish we had more opportunities for dressing-up! These past couple of years have not been - ahem! - conducive to such things, but now we're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel we're going to have to find ways to make use of all the fancy outfits in the wardrobe! Jx
DeleteStoopid non-downloading Summer! Ol' Yorga there looks like a desperate Ray Liotta between successes - the resemblance is positively uncanny! In my world. Go out and have a blast tonight, wear something sexy and damn the torpedoes, I say.
ReplyDeleteI can see the similarities between Mr Liotta and Robert Quarry (for it is he)...

PS Had a really slow and quiet day today; no partying!
Well, I'm sorry England's summer was tied to that ghastly Windows thing. bah! Humbug, indeed. Oops! Sorry...I shouldn't have said that til Christmas!
ReplyDeleteIt's perfectly apt to scream "Humbug!" - all the shops are putting their bloody Xmas stuff on the shelves already... Jx
DeleteI remember that old downloading summer meme!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Hallowe’en, Jon!!
Sx
An oldie but goodie... Jx
