Having come in from the extensive gardens here at Dolores Delargo Towers, a) because a blanket of cloud has loomed in and there is rain forecast, and b) because I'm almost out of compost so can't embark on any more (much-needed) potting-on until I get to B&M for a new bag - I think it's time for another selection of choons that have caught my ear of late:

DeleteLulu sounds great, but as I listened, I realized this was a version of Lara Fabian's "I Will Love Again" will the lyrics changed a bit. I just bought her new box set of all the tracks (remixes ad nauseam) off her "Independence" album plus extra goodies included.

DeleteDo you know, this is the second Harry Styles song I like that's not sung by him (the other is "Sign of the Times" sung by Sandra Hüller in Project Hail Mary). In fact, I don't think I've heard Harry Styles sing anything since his One Direction days. Oh, and yes, Nick Heywood is handsome!

I must admit, I'm pretty ambivalent about Lulu's and Soft Cell's latest efforts. Madonna & Kylie's, on the other hand is fab (of course), but it's Jesse Ware's "Sauna" that's my stand out. I think I love it even more now there's a video!
Harry Styles isn't really much of a singer, just very good at self-promotion and performance art. As It Was is about the best of his solo efforts (that I could bear to listen to) mainly because it's a bit like The Weeknd's Blinding Lights, but Mt Heyward does it better.
