Oh oh oh oh oh
By the time you see this, dear reader, we will (hopefully) be in the sky, on our way to the delights of Benalmadena by day and the fleshpots of Torremolinos by night...
Only one song we have left to play - as we do every year!
Behave yourselves - and "normal" service will resume in about a week's time.

Bienvenidos a España! (Because if you’re reading this, you’re here... I hope... and just 0 minutes away from us.). I’ve never been to a Spanish fleshpot!
ReplyDeleteHow bizarre - Torremolinos is only a short bus or train ride from Fuengirola... Jx
DeleteYou've picked a good time to go, weather wise. I've just returned home today from Benidorm, we could have passed in the sky! The first week we had was awful, what with that storm Gloria blowing off, it was like being back at home, the second week was much better with clear blue skies and 74 degrees and it's suppose to stay like it for the next 10 days!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous. I am fed up with the wind and rain and next weekend looks dire.

It was lovely weather when we arrived, but by Tuesday the sea fog was so thick that we couldn't even see the hotel next door, let alone the sun! It brightened up again mid-week, but was nowhere near the idyllic temperatures you describe. Jx
DeleteHave a lovely time, Jon!!

We certainly did... Jx
DeleteProbably pointless to say "have fun" since that's the reason you're going. But have fun!
ReplyDeleteA much-needed break, doing plenty of nothing :-)

Well done you! Looking forward to a (semi/redacted) detailed report about all the fun y'all had! xoxo
ReplyDeleteMore later no doubt... Jx
DeleteOh, dear. I'm just in time to welcome you back with gale force winds, rain and hail. Still, welcome back!
ReplyDeleteIt's grim, dear. Very grim - but thank you anyway! Jx
