Bittersweet

I braved the slings and arrows of the lovely Wood Green Shopping City today...

To ease my jangled nerves, I think another wallow in the glamorous lives of gorgeous people in exotic climes is just the thing, courtesy of the geniuses at Soft Tempo Lounge. Of course.

Ah, that's better!

  1. My goal these days is to completely avoid any store of any kind, deliveries are strictly the way to go.

    1. I like shopping, actually. I find online is fraught with frustrations. Both eBay and Amazon are flooded with Chinese sellers, which is dodgy a.f. - one always needs to read the small print regarding delivery times and, especially with clothing, the sizes. Anything household I might want inevitably won't have free postage, so bargains are cancelled out by the cost of shipping.

I do shop online (of course I do!), but I prefer browsing in person... Jx

  2. I shop everything online now.... whilst listening to Soft Tempo Lounge - hence the pink corduroy flares that arrived last week.... and the black forest gateaux.

    1. You are a living throwback to the 1970s, Ms Scarlet! You're getting vouchers for Berni Inns for Xmas. Jx

  3. Of course that chick can't go into the ocean. All that salt water! Her fried hair would fall out by the handful. Glad you got out and about. Did you buy anything interesting?

    1. Our favourite sparkly diamante shop is closing down, so I got my mother's birthday and my sister's Xmas presents sorted. I think I might pop back before they finally close their doors to get a few little somethings for myself! Jx
