Every time you see me I'm in my sin

It's Boxing Day, "the morning after", the day when all the leftovers from the huge Xmas dinner get used for their true purpose of existence - Bubble'n'Squeak.* With fried eggs (and possibly bacon, too)!

And, invitably, more booze...

...we know a song about that, don't we, dear chums?

Clink, clink, sweeties! Hair of the dog...

  1. It’s a sin
    Everything I’ve ever done
    Everything I ever do
    Every place I’ve ever been
    Everywhere I’m going to
    It’s a sin

If I still believed in such things. Kizzes.

    1. Oh Sam done something fine
When he bought that good whiskey, beer and wine
I love my whiskey and I love my gin
Every time you see me I'm in my sin
So what's the use of getting sober
When you're gonna get drunk again?

I don't believe in the concept of "sin". Clink, clink, sweetie! Jx

    1. I haven't had beer (or lager) for ages. It's not my usual tipple (that's cider), and I only drink it regularly when we're on our holidays as outside the tourist bars on the seafront in Benalmadena, it is largely an unknown quantity in Spain or the Netherlands.

The only other time you'll find me with a can of beer these days is at Pride (as bitter is just about the only drink that is tolerable when warm; and we wouldn't want to haul along a cool-bag for a parade!).

Bubble'n'squak really is a staple "comfort food"... Jx

  3. I drank half a bottle of Cava Christmas afternoon, passed out and woke up in the evening feeling slightly hungover.
I awoke this morning in a panic re bin collections - no need as they are not coming again until next year.
