Racing the funicular

It's another grey and dull day out there, and I can't even break the monotony and go out window shopping, as the gnomes at Amazon have decided that a window of "3pm to 7pm" on a Sunday is a convenient time for a delivery...

Hey ho - time to wallow in the unfeasibly glamorous lives of beautiful people in exotic climes once more methinks, courtesy of the brilliant Soft Tempo Lounge:

Ah, that's better. Although I am a bit concerned about his driving.

  1. Perhaps, unlike you, he'd gone out without thinking and was rushing to get home for an Amazon delivery?

Now. If you'll excuse me, I have what feels like weeks upon weeks upon weeks of blog posts to catch up on. I may be some time...

    1. P.S. Is your delivery a new blouse for that poor Helmut Berger model?

    2. Good luck catching-up, dear... Jx

PS Helmut does look a bit chilly in that photo. Perhaps his Amazon delivery was a Damart vest?

  2. A window of "3pm to 7pm" really means 6:55 p.m.

    1. They just delivered it! [Well I say "delivered" - actually just rung the doorbell and left the parcel on the step, which is nice of them. No-one's going to steal that, are they?] Jx

  4. Dahling... the fabric the gentleman is wearing.. that blue suit. What is it called. I remember when it was all the rage and made me rage and rage, as it was always being used inappropriately. What is the name of that fabric? I swear... my love of gin is robbing me of far too many brain cells. Kizzes.
