Giving thanks for Fred and Ginger

Having a very quiet, laid-back day today, as a Sunday should be. [I was going to tackle the leaf-strewn garden, but it's been drizzling and miserable, and threatening rain all day...]

With that in mind - how about an old tradition? An ironing film!

Who better to introduce it, but the irrepressible Steve Hayes aka Tired Old Queen at the Movies?

Superb.

  1. Agreed, if its going to be a drizzly day, it might as well be a Sunday where I just want to relax and not do much anyways! I did get a chance to work in the yard yesterday, so of course, I can barely move today anyways.

  2. The Tired Old Queen is always jolly to watch and I have happy memories of watching this and other such ' ironing films' with my mum too.
Love Fred not to sure about Ginger, I don't think she was very nice and Fred could dance with anyone, even a broom in one film.

    1. Ginger was always jolly to watch on screen, but was allegedly right cow in real life. Jx

  3. Watta coincidence, I just saw this TOQatM a couple of nights ago. I love him and his very informed takes on movies.
