Muerto bailando

It's el Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) today - mainly in Central and South America, especially Mexico...

... and to that end, how about a little bit of this?

...or maybe, given the day's actual theme, this?!

¡Híjole!

  1. Those dancing skeletons always crack me up, sweetpea! Living in Lalaland, mariachis are a natural for any gathering! Perfect post for Dia de los muertos! xoxo

    1. What fascinates me most about those skeletons is how sophisticated the animation is - given the fact this was made in 1929, almost a century ago!

We're not blessed with much in the way of "Mariachi action" over here - probably because they can't easily fit those hats on the plane! Jx

  2. Some great make-up in Danza de los Muertos. (I like the song, too.)

    1. They spent loads more on the make-up than they did on rehearsing their lip-synching, it seems... Jx

  3. We have 'All Souls' Day, not as much fun as in Mexico at all.
