Yep. Monday's here...
Here we go again...
At least, as we head out for another week of unbridled joy in the world of work, we have something to look forward to - we've booked our holiday in Spain next February!
Hoorah!
To ramp up the anticipation on this Tacky Music Monday, here's an old fave - a most bizarre video [reminiscent of that Björk one (or more likely Miss Dawn French's hilarious piss-take)] in which the faboo Spanish diva Señorita Marujita Díaz appears to be floating above the traffic while warbling a song to her home city of Madrid:
Love it!
Have a good week, dear reader.
What bizarre visuals! It’s always nice to have Spain to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteYou have it every day! 😎 Jx
DeleteI just want to get through the week without any death, dental operations, or evil unshakable virus's.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was in Spain! With good hair and a frilly frock [or colourful trouser ensemble].
Sx
Do you think that video was made for the Spanish tourist board??
Lord knows what it was made for, but I reckon drugs may have been involved.
DeleteHope you have a better week, Ms Scarlet! Jx
I don't know where you found that gem of a video;
ReplyDeleteBut where ever it was I think you should put it back.
I watched the video before I read the post and my first thought was Dawn French on the back of a pick up truck.
It is one I stumbled across a few years ago, and thought it was well overdue another outing - it's simply faboo! Jx
DeletePS "Why can't I buy anything fressshh?!!"
I only hope all the people who love Monday, if there is any such thing on the whole globe, are happy. But as far as the song selection this week you know I absolutely adored and ate that right up. I love music like that. That certainly put some pep in the step.
ReplyDeleteI am so pleased you enjoyed it, sweetie! Señorita Díaz now has a second fan. Jx
The UK had more than its fair share of utterly dreadful television in the 1970s, I can assure you! Jx
DeleteI hope you were waring your Marigolds when you picked that up!
ReplyDeleteHa! Jx
DeleteNothing does the spirit good like looking forward to an exciting trip again! The MIL is still alive so its off to Florida in Feb for us again too. Yay, Spain!
ReplyDeleteYay, Florida! Jx
