In typically British manner, cometh the Festering Season, cometh the rain! That'll make the commute even more special than usual...
Never mind, eh?
Time, methinks, for a little showcase of the very latest Autumn/Winter fashions...courtesy of the eternally à la mode Soft Tempo Lounge!
Ah, that's better.
[Music: Alessandro Alessandroni - Primavera]
Soft Tempo Lounge music raises my blood pressure. I think it's because I was coming of age during that music and the memories are not all great. As for Roddy, I wish that guy in the front would move out of the way. I was hoping to see Roddy sway.
ReplyDeleteI think that fella is about to get a mouthful. Jx
DeletePS We adore lounge music! A huge swathe of our massive music library is devoted to it...
Show us yer rod, Roddy!
ReplyDeleteHe whops it out on any occasion, that one. Jx
DeleteOutfits to aspire too really.
ReplyDeleteCan one even get a burnt orange maxi-coat these days?! Jx
DeleteHow I adore a classic fashion show. With a gin martini in one hand, of course.
ReplyDeleteClink, clink. sweetie! Jx
DeleteFab U Lous
ReplyDeleteBut are you a mini, midi or maxi type of gal? Jx
DeleteI have my Maxi coat ready to take to Malaga and shall be wearing it buttoned up to the neck !
DeleteSo if you want to get a nice brown tan without burning,
Deletehow do we go about it, Marjorie?
The golden rule, Joan, is, build up gradually.
First two weeks of your holiday,
stay in your hotel room with a hat and a pullover.
And if you've got an old maxi coat left over from the early '70s,
wear that too.
And if I'm 16 or 17 and have never seen a maxi coat...
If you're 16 or 17,
my advice is stay at home and get those qualifications.
So, to sum up, first two weeks in your room,
followed by three or four weeks in a full-length dressing gown,
opening the lapels for a minute or two every other day.
Never forget, you can still get a nasty sunburn even at night.
Gawd bless Victoria Wood and Julie Walters! Jx
