Mr DeVice at Inexplicable Device did a splendid job of hosting this year's Garden Photos Event, of which we were proud to be a part - but it's just as well it's all over now, as the temperatures have plummeted, and the extensive gardens here at Dolores Delargo Towers have been blackened by frost...
It's December!
Hey ho. Another weekend is looming, we'll be playing host to Mother when she visits London tomorrow, and Madam Arcati and I are off to the Barbican Centre tonight for a concert by our beloved Clare Teal and the BBC Big Band!
Meanwhile, let's get the party started in proper sparkly fashion - with a most appropriate number - and Thank Disco It's Friday!
Have a great weekend, dear reader!
I hear ya! Glorious event this year!!! And I can also agree about the garden. A week of frosts have but done everything in. A rather depressing site now..... even the pansies are wilted.
ReplyDeleteNothing worse than a wilted pansy, dear! Jx
DeleteHave a great time!
ReplyDelete'Twas a faboo evening's entertainment - warmed the cockles of our hearts! Jx
DeleteHow my Golly Gosh you are playing Christmas music ! We will have Black Snow by monday let alone frost. It is a fab tune though and it is Disco.
ReplyDeleteI cant agree with everyone enough. Mr De has surpassed himself with this year's Garden Photos Event,
Well done Mr De.
That's not a Xmas song! Hey Santa Claus by Kevin Bloody Wilson is a Xmas song... Jx
DeleteOh and Clare Teal and the BBC Singers were Fab.
ReplyDeleteSo you keep saying... 😀 Jx
DeleteIt's always nice to get the GPE in before the first frosts. My spider plants are now mush!
ReplyDeleteOurs are tucked away against the wall of the house(s), and have survived for years, even through -8C frosts! Jx
