Meanwhile, at the Palace

Monday again.

Grrrrr... Another fab weekend over too soon.

Never mind, eh? The fact that today happens to be the birthday of the lovely Jo Anne Worley gives me the perfect excuse on this Tacky Music Monday to revisit a mightily-odd-yet-glittering cavalcade of ill-matched stars, of which she was one, pretending to like Mr Anthony Newley...

Bizarre, but faboo!

Have a good week, dear reader.

  1. I could never do with just a liquid breakfast. Have a good week! We got a holiday here in the US, it's Labor day.

    1. When I'm holiday, we have booze for "breakfast" when the bars open. Not in day-to-day life - that would be a bit worrying!

In the US you get eleven annual federal holidays plus Easter and various others; the UK only has eight bank holidays a year... Jx

  2. I love a good bloody in the morning... As for Jo Anne - I adore. She is a force of nature and such a good soul. She was a regular on the summerstock circuit that Paul Lynde helped establish. And so clever... I happened to watch her debut on Laugh-In on some streaming service and she was a revelation... she and Ruth Buzzi. Thanks for honoring her. Kizzes.

    1. Although I was very young when Laugh-In was screened in the UK, I remember vividly how bizarrely entertaining its contributors were, especially Miss Worley, Miss Buzzi, Miss Cahn and Miss Hawn... Jx

  3. Yes, that is an interesting combination - and a polaroid camera advert!
