Baby, I'm your man, don't you know who I am?

The musical genius George Michael would have been 60 today. What a sad loss he was...

We still miss you, Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou (25th June 1963 - 25th December 2016)

  1. Ah, George. The only other person who could carry off the Lady Di hair do.

"Cowboys and Angels" is one of my favourites.

    1. Sheena Easton didn't do too badly at it!

I love Cowboys and Angels and loads more of George's more wistful numbers (Jesus to a Child, Older and A Different Corner especially), but I felt that to feature any of those might bring the weekend mood down a tone.... Jx

  2. Poor George was busted for lewd acts in a public toilet in Will Rogers Memorial Park. There are two Will Rogers parks, one out at the Santa Monica beach and this one in the middle of Beverly Hills and which is also known, unofficially, as the George Michael Memorial Tearoom. Imagine stopping in for a quick scratch 'n sniff and discovering George Michaels on the other side of the glory hole.

    1. "I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)"?

I wouldn't have minded a nibble on his kebab - at least when he looked like he did in his prime, not as he looked towards the end... Jx

    1. A truly amazing talent. Imagine what more he could have produced if he were still with us? Sad. Jx
