Shut up

Penitentiary missing the letter "s"..?

Hoorah! The weekend is in view - and with it, the prospect of getting ourselves into a party mood!

What better way to start the countdown than this faboo number that, until I heard it on the radio recently, I hadn't thought about in years..?

Beware, dear reader, this can quite easily become an "earworm" - you might well find yourself singing it in the queue at Tesco!

Thank Disco Sebastian It's Friday!!

Have a great weekend, peeps!

    1. This song was a hit in 1985.

I was 22 years old, and I was "the good time that was had by all"...

      Sigh. Jx

  2. I LOVE this. But the song is SO old... and I’m not. At least I don’t think so.

    1. You were more All Green and the O'Jays than Sin With Sebastian, then? Jx

    2. It was more jazz and 60s/70s rock back then with whatever the 3 teenagers and the 7 year old were playing/singing! I was still listening to Jimi Hendrix while driving carpool! xoxo

    3. I was trying to work back to when you were 22 years old - if it was rock, Derek and the Dominos and Badfinger, perhaps..? Jx

  6. Well this one certainly set the mood, and yes that song is quite addictive. The first opening picture reminds me of when my house boys get lined up at night for inspection. But my weekend started out lovely, as after work my gang met for happy hour 4:00 p.m. I didn't get in till 2:00 a.m.. it's been a nice lie in today so far.....

    1. We are kindred spirits, dear. I can't count the number of times over the years I went out straight from work, and ended up getting home on a night bus... 🤪🤪🤪 Jx
