Fondue, anybody?
It's been dank, mizzly and grey all day today - probably just as well I had no plans, and had a good lie-in 'till 1pm...
Time for some "Sunday Music" to cheer us all up, methinks - courtesy of our "house band" here at Dolores Delargo Towers:
Postmodern Jukebox ft. LaVance Colley - House Of The Rising Sun [The Animals '60s/'70s Soul version]
We love Postmodern Jukebox!
Yes we do love Postmodern Jukebox! LaVance Colley. Holy Moly!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, mothers, tell your children.
PMJ always attract the very best singers - and he certainly has a powerful set of pipes! Jx
DeleteNow you got my hungry for fondue. A lovely place up the road makes some delicious sherry cheddar fondue........
ReplyDeleteOtherwise, another glorious weekend in the books
I cannot understand the attraction of fondue. It all just smacks of 1970s wife-swapping parties and all that... Jx
DeleteI was in London in the 70s and never saw fondue!
DeleteYou must have mixed in better circles. Jx
DeleteSometimes, but mostly not!
DeleteHa! No wonder fondue wasn't involved... Jx
DeleteOoh, spooky AND funky
ReplyDeleteHow we like it! Jx
DeleteWow
ReplyDeleteI get the feeling that this is how the song should have been sung in the first place.
And I love it when the PMJ band get Funky
It's a vast improvement on the original, I agree! Jx
