Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap...

Oh, shit. After a lovely, fulfilling fortnight's break, it's time to switch on the stupid laptop and to get subsumed in the random, pointless crap that will inevitably await me as I log back into work...

On this particularly excruciating Tacky Music Monday, thank heavens for today's birthday girl - Miss Ann Miller, dancing with what would appear to be an entire orchestra buried in sand!

A bizarre, if fleeting, distraction. Now, on with the grind.

Have a good week, dear reader.

I won't.

  1. Have a good week, Jon! I'm still listening to the previous post. Hang on. Blimey, I wish I could get my legs to look like that whilst wearing the FGES. I so wish I could tap dance.

    1. Her legs were insured for $1 million, apparently. I doubt mine would be worth more than a fiver. Jx

PS It's never too late, dear - remember "The Roly Polys"?

  2. I remember this number. I think they included it in one of those That's Entertainment movies. I must say, she's doing all that work with her feet in the beginning and the camera choose to cut them off. Ah, Anne Miller. She sure knew how to swing! She had the biggest dick in Hollywood! Welcome back to the salt mines. I logged in last night before bed and went through a bunch of e-mails. So, a little less traumatic for me this morning. Kizzes.

    1. I almost fell off my chair when I opened Outlook this morning and found 2500 unread emails waiting for me! Turns out it is some kind of system fault, thank heavens.

Miss Miller does help take one's mind off it all for a while...

  3. Love these Diva posts - I knew Ann Miller anyway but you've introduced me to some great female artists I wouldn't know, and helped me appreciate some I wouldn't otherwise. Thank you for doing them

What a talented lady Ann was.
