On this, the last day in work before the Festering Season really kicks in, I'm hoping we may get to knock off a bit early - then the laptop will go away under the stairs for a fortnight!
It's pissing down out there, and I'm at home with the lamps on. We need something to lift our spirits and to get in the mood for the parties to come. What could be more festive than some Minogues, some drag queens and a load of people dancing on a beach in their swimwear..?
Thank Disco It's "Xmas Eve Eve" Friday!
You can stick your "White Christmas" and your "Let it Snow". Sunshine is the way to go!
Happy holidays, dear reader!
Well, were current at 56 degrees, and the temp is supposed to plummet by 2pm.This weather is crazy. Snow yesterday and gone already. Now were awaiting the cold, rain, gales and sleet. Loved the tune! The one queen was on Drag Race Down Under.
ReplyDeleteMy four-day started at 1pm yesterday. Now a Bloody Mary... and back to bed for a extra wink or two.
Wink? Is that a typo? Jx
DeletePS Just be thankful you're not in Alberta, Canada - they're expecting -40F temperatures! I thought our cold snap was bad...
Now THAT is a feel-good video. And the two drag queens were priceless. The opening was perfect. Currently 18 and still sunny here. It was like spring today.
ReplyDeleteI whooped for joy when I found that video. I love it. J
DeletePS Roll on February! We'll be on the Costa...
Now that is a christmas celebration I could support.
ReplyDeleteMe, too! Jx
DeleteHow absolutely Joyous
ReplyDeleteYou can stuff the Turkey ! I want a Christmas like that.
We could try and recreate it out the garden on NYE, but I think it's unlikely to reach 100 degrees. Jx
DeleteDisclaimer: no, that was not moi in the video. Well, not "that" video...Merry Happiness to all xx
ReplyDeleteI shudder to think what you've been getting up to on video, Dinah... Jx
DeleteIt's stopped raining!!! Merry Christmas!!!
ReplyDeleteSxx
It's just overcast here, but very mild again. Still nowhere near beach temperatures, unsurprisingly. Jx
DeleteWell, it looks like the temperature will reach double digits here this Christmas. Although, I'm relieved that it won't get any warmer as I don't want "Kylie" and "Dannii" larking about with their mob turning the already muddy garden into a swamp! (But how nice it would be to have a Christmas warm enough to loll around on the beach)
ReplyDeleteIf I won the Lottery, I'd be lolling by a beach all year round... Jx
