It's dark, it's bleak and it's miserable out there. At least there's no snow to make today's journey to work treacherous, but there may well be more rain. Yuk.
On this Tacky Music Monday, here's another seasonal classic to cheer us up. All together, now...
Have a good week, dear reader.
I don‘t understand why all we ever hear is frickin' Mariah Carey when this classic is out there.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why Mariah Carey even exists. Jx
DeleteThis could have only been better had Divine made an appearance.
ReplyDeleteMitchell-Mariah Carey, that cow. She'll live the rest of her days off that dreaded Christmas song.
If only Divine were still with us - she'd have scragged that Mimi bitch by the wiglets by now! Jx
DeleteDo have a Happy Christmas darling. You could be here where we'll be lucky to be at zero for our high with 30-50 mph winds. Fuck this all.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'd cope with that kind of weather for long. This past few weeks have been horrid enough with -7C/19.4F, but that's not a normal occurrence in London. It's the coldest "cold snap" we've experienced since we moved here in 1999... Jx
DeleteWas about to have a whinge about mid 30s and blistering sun...I'll leave quietly
ReplyDeleteWe currently have a warm current of air from Madeira over the UK, so it's not nearly as bad as it has been - far from mid 30s, mind you, and sun so low in the sky you can only see it through gaps between the buildings. Jx
DeleteJohnny McRae... I have to track this 2004 John Water's collection down... inspired stuff.
ReplyDeleteJohnny McRae? Who he?
DeleteThe John Waters Christmas album is just genius. Jx
Fab
ReplyDeleteI can hear you singing along as we speak... Jx
