The witching bitching season is upon us...
...and there are some traditions that are just too good not to repeat! This clip is my annual treat torture for my dear sister, who simply adores it:
[Laughs maniacally.]
Happy Hallowe'en, everyone!
And then, there's this [which we heard for the first time on Elaine Paige's Radio 2 show on Sunday]!
Terrifying!
Don't get your ghoulies in a twist, dear reader...
This is the creepiest stuff I've seen yet this Halloween!
ReplyDeleteMy work here is done 😈 Jx
DeleteI love your traditional Count Yorga clip. He always reminds me of Julian, the "tangerine-tinted buffoon" from Bridget Jones' Diary!
ReplyDeleteI shall have to take your word on that, as I have never seen it... Jx
DeleteCount Yorga looks an awful lot like me back in the day when I had to chase down a toddler for bath time. LOL
ReplyDeleteI got caught talking to a crow in the parking lot today. The fellow passing by looked genuinely worried but was it for me or him I'm not sure. I said to the crow, "Oh there you are!" All delightful and cheery because I could hear it among the oaks golden leaves, but it took me a moment to see it.
Ha! Chasing down a toddler for bath time - it appears to be a constant battle upstairs from us 😁
DeleteTalking to crows? It must be your "familiar"! Jx
I don't know if my favorite part of Yorga is the cute guy's floppy hair or the candle getting knocked off or Yorga's look of "Eat that, bitch" at the end.
ReplyDeleteAll of it! It's one of my favourite clips, ever. It's just perfect. Jx
DeletePS And it scares my sister, so that's always a bonus!
All eighties make-up was inspired by Count Yorga!
ReplyDeleteSx
Dave Vanian of the Damned made a whole career out of impersonating him. Jx
