Oo-er - had a couple of inches up my back passage this morning! Snow, that is. The extensive gardens here at Dolores Delargo Towers bear a passing resemblance to Narnia at the moment, but I have no doubt before too long it'll look more like a swamp as it all turns to slush...
To take the chill out of the situation, here's a lovely summery number from our "house band":
Perfect "Sunday Music".

Only two inches? I bet you barely noticed... ;)
ReplyDeleteP.S. New fence!!!
Delete“It's the way of the lay, not the size of the prize.” Apparently. Jx
DeletePS Yes - almost two years after the old fence started falling down, the place next door has been getting a thorough refurb, and finally we have our border back!
Like throwing a hot dog through the Holland Tunnel I surmise.
DeletePot calling kettle black there, methinks. Jx
DeleteOne of the few pictures I've ever seen with a few inches in your back passage dear.

Nope, can't argue with the experts. This gal's leaving gracefully...
ReplyDeleteSnow must be a distant memory for you, Dinah! Hope you enjoyed the music, if not the innuendo... Jx
DeleteYour back passage is lovely no matter what time of year.
ReplyDeleteMany people have said similar... Jx
DeletePretty!! I'm so relieved to see your new fencing as I often found that the broken fence distracted from the overall gorgeousness of your back passage.

It's been frustrating for us too, as you can imagine. Neighbours, eh? Jx
DeletePerfect Sunday music indeed and now we have the Clare Teal show safely in place on Jazz FM we can sit back turn up the heating and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI would love to know just how far their ratings have dropped on Sunday nights since Radio 2 decided to sack Miss Teal and Don Black in favour of a bloody "holistic wellbeing guru". Jx
